Job Summary
Provide exceptional lifetime care to patients as an integral member of the patient care team, delivering preventative care and overall maintenance of dental health. Utilize clinical tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to perform screenings and documentation. Participate in a robust mentor program with 1:1 support to enhance clinical skills and access continuing education opportunities. Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment within a secure company with over 20 years of industry experience, supported by best-in-class supplies and labs.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Indiana
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
