Dental Hygienist

Conduct patient screenings including oral health history, head and neck exams, and periodontal charting to identify signs of oral cancer and gum disease. Perform dental cleanings, apply preventative treatments like fluoride and sealants, and take and develop dental X-rays. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, provide nutritional guidance, and deliver post-treatment care instructions. Accurately document clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient progress while maintaining strict infection control protocols. Collaborate with dentists to communicate findings and assist with procedures. Requires an active RDH license and laser certification; full-time Monday through Thursday hours from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM at Sacramento River Dental Group in Sacramento, CA.
