Job Summary
Provide preventative dental care under the clinical supervision of the supervising dentist, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants; perform radiographs (plain film and digital), scaling and root planing, and periodontal screening; educate patients on oral health; maintain accurate patient records; ensure infection control and HIPAA compliance; collaborate with dentists and team members; participate in CQI and performance-management activities; stay current with SC licensure and certification requirements; contribute to overall quality patient care at Affinity Health Center.
Required Qualifications
- SC State Dental Hygienist Licensure
- SC Radiology Safety Certification
- Experience in scaling and root planing
- At least 2 years of dental practice as a dental hygienist
- Experience with electronic health records
- Experience exposing and processing X-rays
- Reliable Transportation
