Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening, medical history documentation, and preventative care maintenance. Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver high-quality clinical services. Perform essential duties requiring prolonged sitting and standing, with the ability to lift up to 45 pounds as needed. Complete required tuberculosis testing prior to employment and attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically. Work within a supported professional corporation structure where you retain clinical autonomy while receiving mentorship and educational support.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Nebraska
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
