Job Summary
Registered Dental Hygienist needed to provide patient screenings, cleanings, and assist dentists with exams and procedures. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, discussing care plans, preparing sterilized equipment, taking vital signs, collecting oral health histories, evaluating for gum disease, cavities, and infection, performing routine prophy and scaling/root planing, and teaching good oral hygiene techniques. Must hold an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene, current licensure, and at least two years of experience, with strong HIPAA knowledge and excellent communication skills. Flexible scheduling and a team-focused, patient-centered approach are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current Dental Hygienist licensure
- At least 2 years of experience in dental hygiene
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
