Job Summary
Dental Hygienist needed at Tend in Hyde Park, MA. Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal care (prophylaxis, SRP, scaling and root planing, gingivitis scaling, oral cancer screenings, fluoride treatments, Zoom whitening, Itero scans, Perio Protect, Curodont) in a modern studio with Team (Assisted) Hygiene support. Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize scheduling, sterilization, and documentation; work with dentists on hygiene exams and treatment recommendations; drive hygiene production and support same-day care opportunities. Enjoy flexible compensation with two plans (Plan A: higher base, no monthly bonus; Plan B: base plus monthly bonus) and a 90-day option to switch plans. Requires dental hygiene degree, active state license, anesthesia/nitrous license where applicable, CPR/BLS certification, and comfort with digital charting and x-ray technology. Open to full-time (32–40 hours), part-time (2–3 days), or PRN schedules, with benefits including malpractice insurance, health/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), EAP, and continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Current Anesthesia/ Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Open to full-time (32–40 hours/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), part-time (2–3 days/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), or PRN (work when you want!)
