Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal care in a Tend studio using the Team (Assisted) Hygiene model, collaborating with a dedicated dental assistant and dentists to optimize patient care. Responsibilities include prophylaxis, SRP, gingivitis scaling, oral cancer screenings, Zoom whitening, Itero scans, sealants, fluoride treatments, and patient education, while driving hygiene production and supporting same-day treatment opportunities. Operate within a supportive, team-driven clinical environment and participate in ongoing CE opportunities. Requires a degree from an accredited dental hygiene program, active hygiene license, anesthesia/nitrous license where applicable, CPR/BLS, and comfort with digital charting/x-rays; open to full-time, part-time, or PRN scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Current Anesthesia/Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
- Open to full-time (32–40 hours/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), part-time (2–3 days/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), or PRN (work when you want!)
