Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal care including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, oral cancer screenings, sealants, and patient education aligned with evidence-based clinical guidelines. Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize schedule, manage sterilization, and support documentation while partnering with dentists to identify and recommend treatment plans. Proactively drive hygiene production by maximizing chair time and supporting same-day treatment opportunities. Maintain strong patient relationships through clear communication and trust-building. Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities and peer collaboration. Requires an active dental hygiene license, current CPR/BLS certification, and comfort with digital charting and intraoral cameras. Open to full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state youre applying for
- Current Anesthesia/ Nitrous license if applicable for the state you're working in
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
- Open to full-time (3240 hours/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), part-time (23 days/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), or PRN (work when you want!)
