Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive oral hygiene procedures including scaling, root planning, prophylaxis, fluoride varnish application, and sealant placement. Review and update dental x-rays and chart notes while maintaining equipment, and record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims. Identify opportunities to discuss the mouth-body connection with patients and serve as a point of escalation for patient and team relations. Ensure strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance while sterilizing and maintaining dental supplies in a safe environment. Maintain a compassionate, positive rapport with diverse patients and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to empathize and provide top-notch, positive, patient care while connecting with our diverse patient base
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
- CPR certification
- Certification in local anesthesia administration
- Current Certification from an accredited Hygiene Program
- Current CPR Certification
