Job Summary
Provide preventive periodontal treatment and patient education as part of the dental team; perform scaling and polishing, take and mount x-rays, administer topical and local anesthetic, fluoride treatment, impressions for night-guards, and maintain patient documentation and operatory readiness. Full-time, 40 hours weekly; schedule includes Mon–Thu 8AM–7PM, Fri 8AM–5PM, Sat 8AM–12PM. Requires Iowa Dental Hygienist license, Local Anesthetic Permit, current BLS/CPR, and COVID-19 vaccination.
Required Qualifications
- Dental Hygienist license by the State of Iowa
- Local Anesthetic Permit issued by the State of Iowa
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (exemptions may be granted)
- E-Verify participation and I-9 employment verification may be required
