Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatments under general dentist supervision. Assess dental conditions and needs while reviewing medical history, then educate patients and parents on oral hygiene. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care opportunities and maintain accurate dental and perio charting. Support the office mission by creating memorable experiences for our patient base, which includes over 70% children.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Love working with kids
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
