Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care to patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatments under general dentist supervision. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene while assessing dental conditions and reviewing medical histories. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care options and maintain accurate dental and perio charting. Support the office mission by creating memorable experiences for a patient base that is 70% or more children.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Love working with kids
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
