Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatments under general dentist supervision. Assess dental conditions, review medical histories, and educate patients and parents on oral hygiene while providing Same Day Care options. Chart dental and perio data and maintain compassionate service for a patient base where children comprise over 70% of visits. The role offers a bi-weekly uncapped production bonus and monthly office performance bonuses. Full-time candidates receive up to $10,000 in sign-on or relocation bonuses, while part-time staff earn $5,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and continuing education reimbursement up to $250 annually for certified hygienists.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Love working with kids
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
