Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care to patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatment under general dentist supervision. Assess dental conditions and patient needs while reviewing medical history, then educate patients and parents on oral hygiene. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care opportunities and maintain accurate dental and perio charting. This role supports Benevis's mission to create over a million smiles annually through high-quality, compassionate community care, with a patient base that is 70% or more children.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Love working with kids
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
