Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care to patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatments under general dentist supervision. Assess dental conditions, review medical histories, and educate patients and parents on oral hygiene. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care options while maintaining compassionate care standards. Support office performance through bi-weekly uncapped production bonuses and monthly incentives. This role is part of Benevis's mission to create over a million smiles annually, with a patient base where children comprise 70% or more. Hygienists must hold current licensure in good standing and may seek continuing education reimbursement after one year of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Love working with kids
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
