Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care to patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatments under general dentist supervision. Assess dental conditions and patient needs while reviewing medical history, then educate patients and parents on oral hygiene. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care opportunities and maintain accurate dental and perio charting. Support the office mission to create over a million smiles annually by delivering compassionate care to a patient base where children comprise more than 70% of visits.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Support our mission to providing excellent dental care in the community and help us create more smiles and memorable experiences
- Love working with kids (they make up 70% or more of our patient base)
