Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care to patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatments under general dentist supervision. Assess patient dental conditions, review medical histories, and educate families on oral hygiene. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care options and maintain accurate dental and perio charting. This role supports Benevis' mission to create over a million smiles annually across communities, with a patient base that is 70% or more children. Candidates must hold current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Love working with kids
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
