Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care to patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, and fluoride application under general supervision of a dentist. Assess dental conditions and medical history while educating patients and parents on oral hygiene. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care options and support office charting needs. This role supports Benevis' mission to create over a million smiles annually across 2,000 offices. Hygienists receive bi-weekly uncapped production bonuses, monthly office performance bonuses, and reimbursement for continuing education up to $250 per year. Full-time candidates may qualify for up to $10,000 in sign-on or relocation bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Love working with kids
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
