Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, and fluoride application. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene while assessing dental conditions and reviewing medical histories. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care opportunities. Support the office with charting and maintain patient records. Work in a team environment focused on creating accessible, affordable dental care for communities, with a patient base where children represent over 70% of visits.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
