Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care to patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant application, and fluoride treatments under general dentist supervision. Assess dental conditions and needs while reviewing medical history, then educate patients and parents on oral hygiene. Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care opportunities and maintain accurate dental and perio charting. Support the office by delivering compassionate care to a patient base where children comprise over 70% of visits.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Love working with kids
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
- Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
