Job Summary
Dental Front Office Receptionist at NATIVE HEALTH handles front desk duties and customer service for clinics, including greeting patients, answering calls, appointment setting, updating patient information, verifying AHCCCS or other insurance, collecting payments, and general clerical tasks. Must manage patient registration and eligibility, schedule coordination with providers, knowledge of AHCCCS, CMDP, Sliding Fee Scale, and Title V, and familiarity with dental terminology and CDT codes. Proficiency with NextGen EHR, Microsoft Office, privacy requirements, and maintaining confidentiality is required. The role emphasizes first-point-of-contact patient experience, accurate payment processing, and supporting enrollment services; bilingual Spanish is preferred. Requires high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 1 year in dental front office (3 years in related customer service or medical/dental care), valid Arizona driver’s license, background checks, immunization records, TB test, and BLS certification within 90 days.
Required Qualifications

- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Must be 25 years of age and insurable by NATIVE HEALTH liability auto policy
- Must possess valid Arizona driver’s license (or from out-of-state within 30 days) with clean driving record
- Background check and Fingerprint Clearance Card
- TB test record within 12 months
- BLS certification within 90 days of employment
