Dental Dispensary Aide

Assists in the operation and maintenance of one or more dispensaries; prepackages and distributes dental materials and equipment to dental students, hygiene students, and faculty; orders supplies and stocks shelves to ensure continuity of items; maintains accurate computer records of items scanned in and out; reviews and arranges supplies for pre-clinical classes; maintains dispensaries as a clean and organized unit; transfers data from handheld scanners into a computer; supports proper handling and sterilization of instruments and materials; learns and applies proper techniques for handling used instruments, disposable materials, chemicals and dental materials; opens clinic dispensaries and prepares for operation; helps with inventory control, labeling, and stock management; may receive training in HIPAA, BBP, Axium, and PCI procedures.
