Job Summary
Provide direct dental care including restorative procedures, extractions, endodontic therapy, and preventative treatments while diagnosing oral diseases and injuries. Supervise Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and support staff across three clinic sites in Prince George's, Charles, and St. Mary's counties; lead departmental meetings, peer reviews, and training initiatives. Optimize operational efficiency, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Contribute to grant writing, budget planning, and strategic initiatives to expand access to oral healthcare for over 18,000 Medicaid and uninsured patients. Drive quality improvement and patient experience enhancements while maintaining accurate EHR documentation.
Required Qualifications
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school
- Active, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Maryland (or eligible for licensure)
- Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and Maryland State Controlled Substance license
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- 10 years of clinical practice experience
- experience in a Community Health Center (FQHC) or public health setting
- 5-7 years of clinical leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Proven ability to lead multi-site teams and manage cross-departmental relationships
- Strong familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards, infection control protocols, and quality improvement frameworks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- Must be able to drive between Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc. locations
