Job Summary
Prepare lessons and deliver high-quality instruction to students using varied teaching methods while maintaining an inclusive classroom environment. Maintain open communication regarding student progress, provide academic advising and tutoring, and participate in student affairs initiatives like orientation and career services events. Regularly assess learning outcomes, utilize data for program improvement, and collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to support continuous quality improvement. Ensure instructional materials and lab equipment comply with accreditation standards and remain in good working condition. Document grades, attendance, and advising data in designated software systems. Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director, Academic Dean, or Campus Director.
Required Qualifications
- Dental Assisting Certificate of Achievement
- 2 years' field experience
- Radiation Safety
- Coronal Polish
- Pit and Fissure
- BLS for the Healthcare Provider
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret materials related to area of expertise
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Ability to perform basic calculations relevant to course material and student assessments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and any software required for course delivery
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
