Job Summary
Assist dentists in providing clinical treatment, care, and education to patients while managing administrative functions and back office procedures. Perform expanded duties including radiography, maintain material safety data sheets, and comply with OSHA laws, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations. Welcome and escort patients, schedule appointments, document all procedures, and present treatment plans and financial options. Ensure operatories are stocked and equipment is maintained, respond to dental emergencies, and attend morning huddles and continuing education seminars. Requires an active Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license, radiography licensure, and at least one year of dental experience.
