Job Summary
Dental Assistant to join a growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) in California. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments, assisting the dentist during procedures, taking digital X-rays in compliance with CA standards, charting procedures and documenting clinical notes, providing patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene, maintaining inventory and assisting with dental supplies, ensuring OSHA/HIPAA/infection control compliance, and supporting front office to enhance patient experience. Requires active CA Dental Assistant certification, CA-compliant X-ray certification, CPR/BLS, and ideally 1 year of dental assisting experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Multi-location growth and ongoing professional development offered.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant certification (as required by state law)
- X-ray certification (California compliant)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
