Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures; assist dentists and hygienists during treatments to maintain patient comfort and workflow; take dental X-rays and digital images as required; perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards; update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care; support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks; collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care; follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines; establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
Required Qualifications
- Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada
