Job Summary
Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean workspace. Educate patients on oral health and address their questions or concerns while supporting the clinic's overall operations for efficient workflow. Collaborate with a compassionate team to provide outstanding patient care. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with no evenings or weekends. Wallace Dental Clinic, a 40-year-old Federally Qualified Health Center in Portland, OR, serves underserved communities with comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified DA (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- CPR/BLS certified.
- Attention to detail – You take pride in keeping instruments and workspaces clean and sterile.
- Comfort with technology – You're confident using dental software and electronic records.
- Must be fluent in English
- Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday - Friday, 7:30AM - 6:00PM, 10 hour shifts. No evenings and no weekends!
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working in a dental clinic.
- Familiarity with OSHA, CDC, and ADA standards.
