Job Summary
Create a welcoming experience for patients by assisting the General Dentist with procedures including restorative treatment, fillings, extractions, and root canals. Prepare treatment rooms, take diagnostic records such as digital x-rays and impressions, and educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care. Monitor patient flow, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and follow infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe environment. Perform other duties as assigned by management. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday through Wednesday schedule with no weekends or late nights.
Required Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience
- Current Dental Assistant licensure/certification as required by state regulations
- Valid radiology/X-ray certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection control standards, and compliance updates
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and dental practice management software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in general dentistry strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with dental experience and a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills with the ability to help patients feel comfortable and supported during treatment
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
