Job Summary
Dental Assistant serves as chair-side support for dentists/hygienists, assisting with operatory setup, sterilization, and infection control. Responsible for radiography exposure/development per state policy, maintaining dental records, scheduling, charge entry and billing oversight, inventory, and participation in community outreach. Requires pediatric experience, Arizona Dental Radiology Certification, CPR/BLS, a valid AZ driver’s license and reliable vehicle; bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Strong leadership, organization, and customer service skills essential; team-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with Dental Coordinator/Director and other departments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience working with a pediatric dental population
- High School Diploma or GED
- Radiography experience
- Arizona Dental Radiology Certification
- Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
