Job Summary
Develop skills to assist dentists with patient care and daily operations of the Dental Clinic, including chair-side assistance, preparing treatment areas, recording treatment outcomes, and performing basic laboratory procedures. Responsible for sterilization, maintenance of dental equipment, and assisting with community health initiatives. Effective communication and infection control knowledge are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks while treating patients with respect.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of Chair Side Dental assisting
- Dental Radiology
- Infection Control
- Strong oral & written communication skills
- Advanced levels of hand & eye coordination skills
- Working level of organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with patients and staff
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Treat patients and staff with respect
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certificate preferred
- BLS required within 90 days of start
