Job Summary
Dental Assistant needed at The Smilist in Amityville, NY. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, assisting doctors to enable efficient dental care, maintaining a clean and sterile operatory, preparing tray setups, escorting patients to the front desk, and supporting management with additional duties as assigned. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, knowledge of dental instruments and procedures, familiarity with Dentrix preferred, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Part-time schedule includes Mondays, Wednesdays, and two Saturdays per month; salary range $20-$25/hour. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
- Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
- Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
