Job Summary
Dental Assistant needed to support dentists in a warm, professional practice. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, assisting doctors, maintaining a sterile environment, preparing tray setups, and escorting patients to the front desk. Must have at least 1 year of experience; Endo, OS, and iTero scanning experience is a plus; Dentrix experience preferred but not required. Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, and attention to detail are essential. Schedule is part-time (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) in Whitestone, NY with competitive compensation and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
- Endo, OS, and iTero scanning experience is a plus
- Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
- Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude
