Job Summary
Sterilize dental instruments, lay out tools for scheduled procedures, and provide chair-side assistance by clearing operating fields, passing instruments, and suctioning. Mix restorative materials as required, assist with dental screenings, and maintain clinic cleanliness and sanitation per OSHA standards. Develop and mount x-ray films if certified, and prepare patient schedules for escort officers while maintaining dental charts and records.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Graduate from an accredited dental assistant program
- Current license or certification (where applicable) to practice in the state in which the facility is located
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Dental Assistant
