Dental Assistant (Surprise)

Dental Assistant role supporting the dentist across specialties (orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, oral surgery) by preparing patients, setting up and maintaining equipment, exposing dental X-rays, recording medical/dental histories and vital signs, and managing patient flow. Responsibilities include assisting the Dentist during procedures, fabricating temporary restorations/impressions, preparing study casts, sterilizing instruments, maintaining dental records in the practice software, and providing preoperative explanations and postoperative instructions. Additional duties may include clinical inventory management, safety/compliance oversight, training interns on safety policies, and potential relocation to other Dental Depot clinics as needed. Requires completion of a Dental Assisting Program or equivalent experience, current CPR, X-ray certification, HIPAA knowledge, and a valid driver’s license for potential vehicle use.
