Job Summary
Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures while anticipating clinician needs and maintaining an organized treatment area. Assist with administration and documentation of local, nitrous, and IV sedation, ensuring patient comfort and monitoring well-being. Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays following strict infection control protocols, and take dental x-rays as directed. Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies. Requires previous experience as a Surgical Assistant and valid state certifications. Full-time Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant
- Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision
