Job Summary
Assist the dentist chairside by welcoming patients, preparing them for treatments, and selecting and setting up instrumentation and equipment. Perform instrument sterilization according to regulations, maintain accurate patient records, and complete lab tasks as instructed. Provide post-operative care instructions and keep operatories clean and stocked. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 6:00pm with a 60-minute lunch break. Join a boutique aesthetic dental practice in Tampa's Hyde Park neighborhood supporting a single doctor with a focus on patient-first care and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Florida EFDA Certificate
- 3 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
- Experience with Xrays and making temporary crowns
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- experience with cosmetic dentistry
- Experience with digital software, preferrably Eaglesoft or Denticon
