Job Summary
Conduct dental procedures and patient care for Naval Cadets at Great Lakes Naval Hospital, including dental radiography with proficiency in radiation physics, biology, health, safety, and digital processing techniques. Perform daily duties under a 40-hour Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm, maintaining Basic Life Support certification and adhering to CODA-accredited training standards. Required Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate Degree in dental assisting, obtained from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA)
- at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months
- 3 years experience
- Letter from Current Employer's HR with list of job duties to include Dental Radiography
- Be certified in radiography
- comprehensive training covering radiation physics, biology, health, safety, and protection
- digital radiographic processing techniques
- 1 year of Full-Time experience as a Dental Assistant post-graduation
- 3 years of Full-Time experience if trained in dental office
- Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
