Job Summary
Welcome patients, prepare them for treatment, and ensure their comfort while assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry. Select and set up instruments, sterilize equipment according to regulations, and maintain the dental room. Provide oral hygiene instructions, schedule appointments, and keep accurate patient records. This specialty practice focuses on improving patient lives through world-class care, with a team of specialists, technicians, and coordinators working together to enhance clinical results.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- A high school diploma
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment
- Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
- Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
- Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
- Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
