Job Summary
Dental Assistant at Endodontic Specialists of Wisconsin in Mequon, WI. Provide patient-focused support including welcoming patients, preparing for treatment, instrument setup, sterilization, 4-handed dentistry with the dentist, post-operative care instructions, scheduling, maintaining patient records, assisting with payments, and coordinating other office tasks. Must assist with safe, comfortable patient experiences, demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization methods, health and safety regulations, and potentially radiology licensing requirements. Requires 1-2 years’ dental assistant experience, a high school diploma, and a dental assistant certificate if legally required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience as dental assistant, specialty is preferred
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- A high school diploma
- A certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
- An active state radiology license (if required by law)
