Job Summary
Dental Assistant sought for Kennett Endodontics P.C. in Kennett Square, PA. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, preparing for treatment, instrument setup, sterilization, assisting with 4-handed dentistry, post-operative care instructions, maintaining a clean and stocked operatory, scheduling, and maintaining patient records, along with supporting other office duties as needed. Requires 1-2 years of dental assisting experience (specialty preferred), knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization, health & safety compliance, ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks, good computer and strong communication skills, and a high school diploma plus a certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (and radiology license if required by law). Office hours are Monday–Thursday, 7:45am–5:00pm with no evenings or weekends. Base pay range is $20–$23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of proven experience as dental assistant (specialty preferred)
- High school diploma
- Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
- Active state radiology license (if required by law)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
