Job Summary
Assist the General Dentist during a variety of procedures (restorative, crown and bridge, fillings, extractions, root canals, hygiene support) and take diagnostic records (digital x-rays, intraoral photos, scans, impressions). Prepare treatment rooms and materials, educate patients on oral hygiene, monitor patient flow, and maintain accurate clinical documentation while following infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols. Must have current dental licensure/certification and radiology/X-ray certification, plus CPR/First Aid. Proficiency with dental software and a team-oriented approach are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but training available for right candidate
- Current Dental Assistant licensure/certification as required by state regulations
- Valid radiology/X-ray certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection control standards, and compliance updates
- Comfort using dental software and digital imaging technology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
