Dental Assistant DENTAL ASSISTANT Dr. Jason A Curtis is hiring a Dental Assistant in Scottsdale, AZ. Seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, dependable, team-oriented professional with minimum 3 years experience. Responsibilities include oral surgery assisting, radiographs, CT scans, prepping for procedures, chairside assistance for fillings/crowns/implants/oral surgery, making impressions, sterilization, charting, and post-procedure cleanup. Benefits include vacation, sick pay, and family-friendly hours (Mon-Thu 8-5, Fri 8-1); very competitive salary $25-$30/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience as a dental assistant
- Experience with oral surgery
- Taking radiographs
- Taking CT scans
- Preparing patients for procedures and/or surgeries
- Assisting with procedures (fillings, crowns, implants, and oral surgery)
- Making dental impressions
- Sterilizing dental tools and equipment
- Post-procedure clean-up
- Chairside assisting dentists and lab work
- Charting existing dentistry, treatment plans, and chart notes
- Knowledge of dentures a plus
- Knowledge and experience presenting treatment plans
