Job Summary
Assist dentists during restorative, oral surgery, endodontic, periodontal, and general dentistry procedures while preparing treatment rooms, patients, and instruments. Record dental charting and clinical notes in Dentrix, clean and sterilize instruments, and take high-quality digital radiographs. Perform routine prophylaxis, fluoride applications, and pit and fissure sealants, educate patients on oral hygiene, and maintain inventory of supplies. Monitor patient vital signs and ensure a clean clinical environment adhering to infection control standards. Work Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with competitive hourly pay at the Santa Fe Indian Health Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Dental Assistant certificate or equivalent education/training that meets position requirements
- Current radiography certification (if required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (if required)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Dentrix preferred
