Job Summary
Dental Assistant supports the Dental Director, Dentists, and Dental Hygienists with chairside care, reception, inventory, and records. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining schedules, assisting during procedures, interacting with patients before/during/after procedures, and ensuring documentation in the electronic record. Requires radiology certification and BLS, with travel to other Salud clinics possible. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred and a positive, team-oriented approach to care in a diverse, low-income community. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with benefits and a comprehensive package included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Radiology certification through state-approved radiology program within required timeframe
- Registered Dental Assistant Program certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA/ASHI/Red Cross
