Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, maintain schedules, and interact with patients before, during, and after procedures. Assist the dental director, dentists, and hygienists chairside while operating, maintaining, and documenting in the electronic record. Reliably take diagnostic digital X-rays and ensure team adherence to the schedule. This role requires radiology certification, BLS, and completion of the Salud Family Health Center Ladder's program. Successful completion of the Registered Dental Assistant Program certification is mandatory. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Must be radiology certified through a state-approved radiology program
- Successful completion of Salud Family Health Center Ladder's program
- Successful achievement of the Registered Dental Assistant Program certification
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities
