Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •3+ years' experience in the field
• •national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB)
• •formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross
• •If you do not have the formal education, you can also qualify with 5+ years' experience in the field and a national certification
• •Interest in teaching or prior experience
• •Must be flexible
• •have a passion to learn and grow
• •Sufficient ability to stand for extended periods of time
• •move around the building and classroom
• •Sufficient visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment
• •use telephone
• •read materials
• •use white board
• •use classroom/office equipment
• •Ability to use current technology to maintain student records
• •Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings
• •Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students
