Job Summary
Dental Assistant Instructor responsibilities include teaching in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, delivering lectures and demonstrations from Ross lesson plans, and covering clinical and administrative skills. Classes are 4.5 hours and offered mornings or evenings, typically 9-18 hours per week as a part-time PRN role. Candidates must have 3+ years in the field with a national certification (RDA from AMT or CDA from DANB) and formal training in a dental assisting program (Ross or similar). If formal education is not present, 5+ years of experience with national certification may qualify. The role requires the ability to travel to clinical sites as needed, maintain student records, and contribute to a professional, student-centered environment aligned with Ross Code of Conduct.
