Job Summary
Assist the dentist and dental hygienist in providing primary care dental services to patients as an active participant in the mobile dental program. Manage the sterilization, preparation, maintenance, and inventory control of dental instruments, equipment, and supplies. Occasionally work at the Buena Vista location as needed based on business requirements. This full-time role includes a 4/10 hour schedule with great benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. The Rockbridge Area Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to promoting oral health throughout the Central Shenandoah Valley community.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic Life Support Provider Certification at the time of hire
- Completion of Accelerated Dental Assisting Program or previous Dental Assisting experience
- Occasional work in Buena Vista location
Desired Qualifications
- Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certification
- X-Ray Certification
