Dental Assistant Program Director

Job Summary
Lead and oversee the online Dental Assisting program, ensuring high-quality instruction, compliance with accrediting bodies, and alignment with regulatory requirements. Key duties include hiring/supervising instructional staff, ensuring credentials, directing advisory committees, collaborating with Instructional Design to update curricula, monitoring LMS-based instructional behaviors, reporting on student outcomes, promoting the program in the community, developing new courses, planning and supervising on-site laboratory sessions, and coordinating curriculum and assessments. Participate in student orientation, review evaluations and placement data, schedule instructor training, and conduct monthly faculty meetings. Travel up to 25% primarily within Texas; position located in the corporate office with potential remote elements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher (required)
- Minimum of three (3) years field experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of online or classroom instruction experience
- Nationally Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (CDA or RDA) or a licensed dentist
- Proficient in four-handed and/or six-handed dentistry principles
- Must meet ABHES Chapter VIII and TWC requirements to be an approved instructor and Program Director
